Music Gala Celebrates 71st Vietnamese Doctors’ Day at the National Institute of Nutrition

On the morning of February 27, 2026, the National Institute of Nutrition held a ceremony to commemorate the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026), followed by a vibrant staff music gala at Tu Giay Hall. The event brought together the Institute’s leadership and a large number of officials, staff members and employees, creating a warm and meaningful celebration for the Institute’s community.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Tran Thanh Duong, Director of the Institute, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all officials and staff on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day. He wished them good health, happiness and continued joy in their professional and personal lives, encouraging them to strive to be strong in medical ethics, highly skilled in practice and exemplary in professional integrity. He emphasized their shared responsibility in protecting and improving public health while contributing to the sustainable development of the Institute. His sincere message set a positive and inspiring tone for the program.

The 2026 Music Gala featured performances from departments, divisions and centers across the Institute. Carefully prepared and enthusiastically presented, the performances reflected strong team spirit and active participation from staff members. The hall resonated with songs praising the homeland, the nation and the medical profession. From emotional ballads to lively and uplifting melodies, each act carried its own character and received warm applause from the audience.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Jury selected and honored the most outstanding performances. The First Prize was awarded to the Department of Micronutrients for the song “Viet Nam Tinh Hoa.” Two Second Prizes went to the Department of Microbiology with “Con Gi Dep Hon” and the Department of Provincial Health Direction with “Viet Nam Oi, Mua Xuan Den Roi.” Several Third Prizes and additional awards, including the Audience Choice Award and the Promising Performance Award, were also presented in recognition of the participants’ enthusiasm and effort.

The award ceremony took place in a joyful and celebratory atmosphere. Bouquets of flowers and certificates were presented as tokens of appreciation for the dedication and teamwork demonstrated by the participating units.

More than an annual cultural activity, the Music Gala celebrating Vietnamese Doctors’ Day provided an opportunity for staff members to strengthen their bonds and take pride in the noble mission of the medical profession. The program concluded in a spirit of unity and optimism, inspiring the Institute’s collective to move forward into the new working year with renewed motivation and determination.
