Tóm tắt

Bổ sung dinh dưỡng đường uống giúp hồi phục sớm, giảm biến chứng, giảm số ngày nằm viện và chi phí điều trị. Mục tiêu: Đánh giá hiệu quả can thiệp dinh dưỡng bằng đường uống trên bệnh nhân suy dinh dưỡng đang điều trị tại bệnh viện Nhân Dân 115. Phương pháp: Mô tả cắt ngang, tiến cứu. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng nặng và suy dinh dinh dưỡng vừa theo SGA trước can thiệp lần lượt là 58,7% và 41,3%. Không có sự thay đổi có ý nghĩa thông kê về cân nặng, BMI, nồng độ albumin máu trước và sau can thiệp dinh dưỡng. Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân có thể sinh hoạt trở lại bình thường tăng gấp đôi. Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân phải nằm một chỗ giảm đáng kể từ 63,0% còn 19,6%. Tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng nặng (SGA C) sau bổ sung dinh dưỡng giảm từ 58,7% còn 34,9%. Tỷ lệ dinh dưỡng tốt (SGA A) tăng lên 23,9%. Kết luận: Can thiệp dinh dưỡng đường uống bước đầu tuy chưa đủ thời gian để đánh giá những thay đổi về thành phần cơ thể và các chỉ số sinh hóa, tuy nhiên đã cải thiện đáng kể khả năng sinh hoạt và cảm giác chủ quan của bệnh nhân.

Abstract

Oral nutritional supplementation may help malnourished patients improve their recovery in terms of early rehabilitation, decreased complications, reduced length of stay in hospital and health care costs. Objective: To assessment the effectiveness of inpatient oral nutritional supplementation in the Public Hospital 115. Methods: a descriptive retrospective study was conducted. Results: The prevalence of participants, who were moderately and severely undernourished with SGA B and C before intervention was 58.7% and 41.3%. There were no significant differences with reference to serum albumin or physical examination functional parameters at the beginning of study and after supplementing oral drinks. The proportion of non functional impairment was twice after intervention. Prevalence of patients with severe overall impairment decreased from 63.04% to 19.57% after taking the supplements. Comparing to before intervention, after supplementing oral nutrition at the minimum of 7 days, SGA C reduced from 58.75% to 34.78%, SGAA (good nutrition) increased to 23.91%. Conclusion: Due to the limit of interventional duration, no effects have been found in physical examination and laboratory parameters. However, oral nutritional supplement influenced profitably to function and subjective sensations of inpatients.
