Kết quả của nghiên cứu trên 3.647 trẻ em tiểu học (6-11 tuổi) ở quận Đống Đa - Hà Nội cho thấy tỷ lệ thừa cân là khá cao (9,9%) và các precentage của thừa cân trong số các trẻ em nam (12,9 %) là cao hơn so với em,7%). Thừa cân trẻ em tiêu thụ thường xuyên hơn cao - thực phẩm năng lượng (bơ, chất béo, chất béo thịt và các thực phẩm rán), và các bữa ăn thêm mỗi ngày so với nhóm không béo phì. Thời gian thời gian dành cho các hoạt động định canh định cư, đặc biệt là xem TV và chơi trò chơi điện tử của các nhóm thừa cân cao hơn đáng kể so với các nhóm khác.

English summary:
The results of the study on 3647 primary school children(6-11 years old) in Dongda district - Hanoi showed that the prevalence of overweight was rather high(9,9%) and the precentage of overweight among the male children (12,9%) was higher than that of the famales(6,7%). Overweight children consumed more frequent high - energy foods (butter, fat, fat meat and fried foods), and more meals per day compared to non-overweight group. Time duration spent for sedentary activities, especially for watching TV and playing electronic games of the overweight groups was significantly higher than another one.
