Rối loạn lipid máu (RLLM) khi có ít nhất một trong các rối loạn sau: tăng cholesterol toàn phần, tăng LDL-C, tăng triglycerid và giảm HDL-C. RLLM có liên quan chặt chẽ đến tình trạng béo phì. Tình trạng RLLM ở người có BMI bình thường ít được quan tâm nghiên cứu. Nghiên cứu cắt ngang, chọn mẫu ngẫu nhiên và đại diện cho những người có BMI bình thường và không béo bụng tại Hà Nam có mục tiêu xác định tỷ lệ mắc RLLM. Kết quả cho thấy có tỷ lệ mắc RLLM là 76,6%, nữ (79,9%) mắc cao hơn nam (70,4%). Có 34,5% bị rối loạn từ 2 thành phần trở lên. Giảm HDL-C chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất (47,2%), tiếp đến là tăng triglycerid (39,1%), tăng LDL-C (25,5%) và tăng cholesterol toàn phần (15,4%). Tỷ lệ RLLM tăng dần theo tuổi, từ 73% khi 40 tuổi đến 81% khi 64 tuổi. Chỉ có 1,6% (22/1400) được chẩn đoán và điều trị RLLM. Tóm lại, ở lứa tuổi trung niên có BMI bình thường và không béo bụng, RLLM là rối loạn phổ biến với tỷ lệ mắc cao và chưa được quan tâm chẩn đoán và điều trị.

Refers to one of the following disorders: increased total choleserol, increased LDL-C, increased triglyceride and reduced HDL-C. Dyslilidemia is strongly associated with obesity. However, dylipidemia status among people with normal body mass index (BMI) has not been paid a great attention. A cross-sectional study with randomly sample representative of normal BMI habitants without central obesity in Hanam province aimed to identify the prevalence of dyslipidemia and its components. The results showed that the dyslipidemia prevalence was 76.6% (79.9% in women and 70.4% in men). About 34.5% of the habitants had at least two components of dyslipidemia. Reduced HDL-C accounted for the highest rate (47.2%), followed by increased triglyceride (39.1%), increased LDL-C (25.5%), and high total cholesterol (15.4%). Dyslipidemia prevalence increased by age, from 73% in 40 years of age to 81% in 64 years of age. Only 1.6% (22/1400) of studied subjects were diagnosied and treated for dyslipidemia. In summary, dyslipidemia was a common disorder in normal BMI middle-age persons without central obesity; and it was not paied enough attention for diagnosis and treatment.
