Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang đánh giá tình trạng dinh dưỡng (TTDD) và một số chỉ số sinh hóa trên 76 đối tượng là nam giới mắc bệnh Gout đang điều trị nội trú tại khoa Lão khoa  Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh Hải Dương. Kết quả cho thấy 46,1% người bệnh mắc Gout trên 10 năm, 25% người bệnh bị trên 3 đợt cấp/năm. Tỷ lệ người bệnh Gout thiếu năng lượng trường diễn (TNLTD) và thừa cân béo phì (TCBP) đều là 14,5%; tỷ lệ vòng eo/vòng mông cao là 25,0%. Về chế độ ăn, tỷ lệ đối tượng ăn nhiều đạm chiếm 59,2%; 61,8% người bệnh uống nhiều bia rượu và 59,2% thường xuyên ăn nhậu và 30,3% đối tượng hút thuốc lá. Có 78,9% đối tượng có nồng độ acid uric tăng cao hơn giới hạn cho phép, 22,4% tăng cholesterol, và 55,3% tăng triglycerid. 

Kết luận: Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân có nguy cơ suy dinh dưỡng là khá cao, cần tiến hành sàng lọc dinh dưỡng trên tất cả bệnh nhân nằm viện để góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả điều trị.

A cross-sectional descriptive study evaluating nutritional status and some biochemical indices on 76 male subjects with Gout inpatient treatment at the Geriatric Department of Hai Duong General Hospital showed that 46.1% patients had gout for more than 10 years, 25% of patients had more than 3 exacerbations/year. The prevalence of chronic energy deficiency and overweight/obesity was both 14.5%; that of high waist/ hip ratio was 25.0%. Regarding the diet, the research results showed that the proportion of subjects eating exceeded protein was accounted for 59.2%; 61.8% of the patients drank exceeded alcohol and 59.2% of the patients was regular alcohol drinkers; and 30.3% of the subjects smoked. 78.9% of subjects had uric acid levels higher than the allowable limit; 22.4% had increased cholesterol, 55.3% had increased triglycerides.

The proportion of patients at nutritional risk was quite high. It is necessary to conduct nutritional screening on all hospitalized patients to contribute to improving the effectiveness of treatment.
