Phương pháp định lượng tồn dư Clenbuterol trong thịt lợn, thịt gà bằng hệ thống sắc ký khí khối phổ đã được xây dựng có độ nhạy và độ tin cậy cao. Các điều kiện tối ưu bao gồm: nhiệt độ và thời gian dẫn xuất Clenbuterol là 700C trong 45phút, dung môi hòa cặn trước khi bơm vào máy là toluen, cột SPE làm sạch loại SCX. Giá trị sử dụng của phương pháp trên đối tượng thịt lợn, thịt gà cho thấy: khoảng tuyến tính từ 2ppb đến 100ppb; giới hạn phát hiện (LOD) là 1,51ppb, giới hạn định lượng 5,05ppb; độ lệch chuẩn tương đối (RSD%) của thịt lợn từ 5,90%  đến 12,08% và thịt gà 6,00% đến 11,31%; Hệ số thu hồi Clenbuterol của thịt lợn từ 71,99% đến 86,34% và thịt gà 71,71% đến 87,13%. Phương pháp phát triển này đã phân tích Clenbuterol trong 30 mẫu thịt lợn, thịt gà; trong 15 mẫu thịt lợn phân tích đã phát hiện 2 mẫu có tồn dư Clenbuterol 9,6 ppb và 12,5 ppb. 

The quantitative analysis method by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS/MS) was developed to determine clenbuterol residues in pork and chicken meat with high sensitivity and validity. The optimal conditions included: temperature and time derivating Clenbuterol is 700C in 45 minutes; using Toluene solvent for residues the Clenbuterol-TMS derivatives, column- SCX for sample clean-up. Linearity range is from 2 (ppb) to 100 (ppb); Limit of detection (LOD) was 1.51 (ppb); Limit of Quantification was 5.05 (ppb); Relative standard deviation (RSD%) of pork meat was from 5.90% to 12.08%, that of chicken meat was from 6.00% to 11.31%. Recoveries (R%) of pork meats was from 71.99% to 86.34%; of chicken meat was from 71.71% to 87.13%. The developed method was applied to analyze clenbuterol content in thirty samples of pork and chicken meat. There were  two pork samples with residues of clenbuterol at 9.6 ppb and 12.5 ppb in fifteen pork samples analyzed.
