This study aimed to determine the prevalence of malnutrition, Vitamin D deficiency (VDD) and factors related to these conditions among children aged 12- 36 months at several kindergartens in Hoai Duc district, Hanoi.
Aims: To investigate the status of food safety and hygiene in 12 kitchens of garment companies.

Subjects were divided into two groups, each group included 35 patients matched by age, sex, HbA1c. The intervention group usedpre-germinated brown rice for 4 months, while the control groupused white rice.
The study was designed by clinical controlled trial, implementing in 15 healthy adult people to identify the glycemix index of Cadier Vitagold. The results showed that Cadier Vitagold product using fiber and Isomalt, raised blood glucose slowly and gradually at 15’, 30’, 45’, 60’, 90’, 120’ postprandial (p < 0.05).
A cross-sectional study was conducted in 1,620 children less than 12 months of age and their mothers in Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh province. The result showed that: prevalence of underweight, stunting and wasting among children less than 12 months of age accunted for 6.5%; 7.7% and 3.0%, respectively; there was combining underweight and stunting (3.6%) and stunting combined with wasting (0.6%).
